I’m Helen Cotton - founder of Wedding Venues in Cornwall & Devon and co-owner of Camel Studio, a wedding venue tucked away in the Cornish countryside.
Since opening our doors in 2020, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with couples and creative professionals from across the South West. That journey inspired me to create a space that celebrates the region’s most exceptional venues and trusted suppliers - all in one beautifully curated place.
What began in Cornwall has grown into a vibrant community of talented people and inspiring businesses. The response has been incredible - our directory has become both a trusted go-to for couples and a supportive hub for members who share a passion for quality, creativity, and collaboration.
With the same spirit of connection and celebration, we’ve now extended that vision into Devon - a county equally rich in beauty, talent, and unforgettable places to say “I do.”

Helen is the co-owner with husband David of Camel Studio, a wedding venue in North Cornwall. She is the founder of Wedding Venues in Cornwall and Devon. With a background in television production, documentary filmmaking and the charity sector, Helen brings a blend of creativity and strategic thinking to everything she does. Her passion for community and storytelling is the heart of this venture.
Jessica Baber
Content & Community Engagement Coordinator
Jessica is the founder of Tide the Knot Weddings and brings over a decade of experience in planning memorable celebrations. With a sharp eye for detail and an open and friendly nature, Jessica makes sure our content is personal, and our community feels connected.
