The venue has been thoughtfully converted from the original farm buildings, combining a beamed traditional roundhouse, a large, colourful courtyard, eclectic private suites, a south-facing lawn, and extensive grounds – all providing endless possibilities for your celebration. The courtyard is the jewel in the crown. Brimming with flora, foliage, and rustic character, it creates a sense of bygone charm – the perfect space for welcome drinks, canapés, or simply soaking in the atmosphere. Festoon lighting adds a magical Mediterranean feel on warm summer evenings and twinkles romantically on crisp winter nights. The old creamery, with its original wooden door, makes a picture-perfect backdrop for wedding dresses or family portraits.
At the heart of the venue is the Roundhouse Barn, a charming early 19th-century converted grain store. With its vaulted beamed ceiling and whitewashed walls, it seats up to 80 guests and is ideal for a sharing banquet on rustic trestle tables or intimate fine dining on scattered round tables. It’s perfect for small, intimate weddings or for serving drinks and canapés, or even a quintessential English vintage tea. For larger celebrations, the expansive lawn overlooking the Tamar Valley and Cornwall provides a beautiful blank canvas for a marquee. With space for up to 120 guests, flexible seating options, and a separate head table, it’s the perfect opportunity to bring your own unique vision to life. The Greenfield is available for weddings from June to August – a truly enchanting setting to create memories that will last a lifetime.
